    Crashed Mustang in Portland street race paid for with counterfeit cash

    PORTLAND, Ore. – One of the vehicles involved in Sunday’s street racing crash in North Portland was recently purchased using counterfeit cash. Two vehicles, a Toyota Scion and a Ford Mustang, were involved in the crash on North Marine Drive and Leadbetter Road that left one person injured. No one involved in the crash has been publicly identified by police. Portland police confirmed to KGW on Tuesday the Mustang involved in the crash was recently bought using $2,000 of counterfeit cash.
